For over 22 years, the team at Astral Aviation have been keeping freight moving around the world. This licensed airline acquired its Air Operators Certificate (AoC) and Air Service License (ASL) from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority in 2001, later being designated as a cargo airline by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kenya in November 2006. The team’s qualifications have allowed them to provide truly amazing support to their clients, providing them with the air freight solutions they need. The Astral Aviation team are renowned for their ability to provide reliable ways of delivering air freight through a heady combination of schedule and charter flights within its Intra-African, Middle East, Asian and European Network. Through a comprehensive fleet of aircraft, this impressive company has proven able to offer the level of service its customers not only expect, but demand from their airfreight partners. Within the team’s intra-African network, there are fifty destinations alone, each playing a crucial part in a considerably larger supply chain. During the last couple of years, the importance of what the Astral Aviation team offered was demonstrated as they undertook various flights during the COVID-19 pandemic. These flights had to meet the stringent standards of Covid regulations at the time, with all flight crews being vaccinated and all flights disinfected where appropriate. High priority was given to those flights which were handling vaccines, PPE and medical equipment wherever possible. Despite the challenges of the day, the team are immensely proud of the work they were able to do to help those who needed it most.
