HOB announces Partnership with Ethos Technologies in the Middle East
HOB, a German-engineered company in remote access solutions, announced today a partnership with Ethos Technologies to distribute their security software in the Middle East. The products will be available in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Pakistan. The cooperation with the well experienced distributor Ethos Technologies ensures HOB’s award-winning solutions are widely available in key markets. Ethos Technologies is a technology distribution company headquartered in Dubai, UAE, with operations in India and Pakistan. The company is wholly owned and managed by veterans in the Middle East IT distribution market with over 40 years of collective experience in leading technologies around datacenter, networking, security and cloud.

One of HOB’s flagship products, HOB RD VPN, is a comprehensive, software-based SSL (TLS) VPN solution that is highly scalable and allows users to securely access enterprise data over the Internet without the need of an installation on a specific platform or device. Therefore all data remains secure meanwhile users have fully flexible access. Further, HOB has developed its proprietary SSL (TLS)-implementation HOB-SSL which securely encrypts all remote access connections via HOB RD VPN and makes it independent from common security vulnerabilities. The SSL (TLS)-implementation is certified according to Common Criteria EAL 4+ by the German Federal Office for Information Security.
